In 1974, Pete Fair and Tom Frederick left the VW organization to open Frederick & Fair Automotive. In 1997, Tom retired from the corporation. At that time Rick Merrick and Chris Fair joined the corporation as partners under the new title "Merrick & Fair, Inc." Since then, Bob Troutman came on board eventually becoming a partner. We assumed the d/b/a title of "More Than Tires Tire Pros" soon after. In essence, More Than Tires Tire Pros is a second generation business that began over ;35 years ago.
